Days 1–2: Welcome to Udaipur — The City of Lakes
Arrive in Udaipur and unwind at a luxury hotel. Explore the charm of this royal city with guided visits to City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagdish Temple, and Lake Pichola. Enjoy local cuisine, a sunset at Monsoon Palace, and a cultural evening by the lake.
Meet the Seva Mandir team over cocktails and dinner to learn about their mission and the impact your visit supports.
Day 3: Heritage Excursion — Kumbhalgarh Fort & Ranakpur Jain Temple
Journey through the Aravalli Hills to visit the magnificent Kumbhalgarh Fort—home to the world’s second-longest wall—and the stunning Ranakpur Jain Temples. A day of awe-inspiring architecture and reflection on Rajasthan’s history and spirituality.
Day 4: From City to Community — Seva Mandir in Action
Depart Udaipur to visit a Rural Learning Camp (RLC). Interact with children through games and creative activities. Later, enjoy dinner with Seva Mandir’s grassroots staff—local leaders, health workers, and educators—who will share stories of transformation from the field.

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome
Welcome to Udaipur! Arrival, check-in, orientation, and group introduction.
Day 2 – Explore Udaipur
City Palace, Lake Pichola, Jagdish Temple, and heritage walk around Udaipur.
Day 3 – Excursion to Kumbhalgarh & Ranakpur
Full-day excursion to Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Jain Temples.
Day 4 – Temples, gardens, and markets
Explore Udaipur’s temples, beautiful gardens, and local markets.
Day 5 – Community visits begin
Seva Mandir RLC camp, cultural activities, and first village immersion.
Day 6–7 – Full village immersion
Volunteering, school visits, SHG groups, and deeper community engagement.
Day 8 – Departure
Check-out and departure. Farewell to Udaipur and the Seva Mandir communities.
Friends of Seva Mandir, a U.S. public charity, supports the work of Seva Mandir, a nonprofit NGO in Southern Rajasthan, India, founded in 1968. Seva Mandir works in over 1300 rural villages, reaching over 500,000 citizens. Programs include early childcare, healthcare, education, women’s empowerment, water resource management, environmental conservation, and support to farmers — following Gandhian principles.
